Tamara, a SF Bay Area native, has always had a passion for animals since a young age. She began her career in the veterinary field in 2001 as a kennel tech and worked her way up to a veterinary technician. During this time, she was given unique opportunities to work with exotics such as lions, chimps, tigers, hyenas, and many more, which was on her bucket list!

After many years in the veterinary industry, Tamara decided to pivot to the fitness world and learn about a new industry which allowed her to transition into a management in an operations role at Crunch Fitness where she managed operations for three of the four largest Crunch Fitness locations in Northern California before coming back to the veterinary industry as Whipple’s Practice Manager in February 2022.

In Tamara’s free time, she enjoys spending time and playing with her cat Lord Carl Bagan's. She also enjoys lifting weights/baking and tending to her plants.
